Hawley Bennett grew up on a hobby farm in Langley, British Columbia. Over the years, Hawley has established herself among the top eventers in the world. In 2002, Hawley and Livingstone, a.k.a. “Hank,” finished 14th at the CCI3* Fair Hill International and the following year, they enjoyed a clear cross-country performance at the prestigious Rolex Kentucky CCI4*. In the fall of 2003, they were members of the Silver Medal Team at the 2003 Pan American Eventing Championships, and Hawley’s Olympic dreams became a reality when she and Livingstone represented the Canadian Equestrian Team in Athens, Greece, the following year. In 2007, they accomplished yet another goal by successfully completing the Badminton CCI4* in England. In 2008, Hawley and Livingstone competed at Rolex for their fourth time with yet another clean cross-country. Hawley and Gin & Juice had an impressive International Eventing career together. They won several national CCI3* events and proved themselves on the world stage at both the Badminton and Burghley CCI4*. In 2010, “Ginny” was named USEA Mare of the Year and the pair represented Canada on the silver medal Canadian WEG team. Following their success at WEG, they went on to represent Canada at the 2012 Olympics in London! In 2013, Hawley and Ginny finished 7th at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* event and were also in the top 20 at the Les Étoiles de Pau CCI4* in France. In 2014, the pair was shortlisted for the Canadian National Eventing Team for the fifth time and completed their 8th CCI4* competition together, placing 16th at The Rolex Kentucky CCI4* Event!
